As someone who dove deep on age across SJM’s series, all I can say is she is inconsistent AND that Gwyn seems to have been written young. If GA were to happen, I assume Sarah will have a character talk about her age just like she did with Rhys talking about Feyre’s age in FAS
I have seen some arguing over Gwyn & her age recently & being shipped with Az and how shes not young Sjm, the creator of these characters herself, had Cassian, a 538 yo fae & same age as Az,call her a girl and had Nesta agree. Tarquin is 80 and is considered young for fae as well
“Indeed, just a girl to him(cassian)” means that she is just a girl to azriel( 539 years old) as well.
This is how sjm describes the high fae aging in acotar when feyre is talking to alis

In ACOTAR, we learn Alis's nephews are still children and are like 80 or something (my number could be off). So SJM seems to have some continuity issues with how she describes age in this world. All this to say — what a dumb thing to be pressed about. Drop it for the love of gd

But really tho who cares if some elriels are saying that Gwyn is a child. Its really not that deep and not worth getting yourselves upset over (you know who you are). Whatever will be will be. Slay
Also remember in ACOFAS when they point out the age gap between Rhys’s mom and Rhys’s dad - an Illyrian woman and a high fae man? Seems like age gaps are important to them
