Also along the Bellingham waterfront, I found an osprey nest on an old piece of infrastructure. One chick peers out at the world. You might be able to see the butt of the other one, poking up on the right.
The city of Bellingham in the north of Washington state has preserved some old objects along its newly redeveloped industrial waterfront. Dating from 1937, these massive digester tanks turned wood chips into a cottony mass of pulp used to make paper products.
My musk lorikeet photo, turned into beautiful art by @debspenceart has won her a "highly commended" at an art show. Very cool! 💚
