It may appeal to the masses, but if so-called 'trash talking' spread to games in our schools it would lead to all sorts of problems. The ancient formula of playing chess quietly in order to be able concentrate and improve should not be underrated; transferable skills.

It was a great meet up today again at the #Brighton beach. Highlight of the event for us was a 4 year old pulling their mom to play just a bit more. This was their first time at the board. Might have a surprise for the next one!! #Sussexunichess #ChessforFun #Chess_in_Community
