I think it depends on how you approach your OCโs strength within the established universe. Personally, I donโt believe an OC should exceed the power ceiling of the universe they belong toโat least not while that universeโs story is still ongoing. +
Throughout my time in here , there's one discourse I've seen that always intrigued me Should OC be stronger / better than canon characters? Or should they forever be inferior/weaker to canon characters?
