A heat advisory has been issued and the SCPD is advising people to take cautions. It may seem second-nature to check on elderly friends & to not leave children in cars but we don't want you to forget about pets. If your pet is with you, do not leave them unattended in car.
5th Precinct Level Advisory Board meeting cancelled tonight.
There will NOT be a 5th Precinct community meeting tonight. The Precinct Level Advisory Board will be meeting at the YMCA from 7-8 PM tonight.

Temperatures are expected to soar beginning today and residents are urged to use caution. The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for Long Island from now through Tuesday at 8 p.m.
