With 143 F-35A in "Nordic Air Force" that sits between UK and Russia (Norway, Finland, Denmark), the best thing UK could do was put Booms on Voyagers and help THEM stay in the air and hit deep into Russia and help its own P-8 and E-7 fly longer over Atlantic and/or Scandinavia.

I've said it in other occasions, already, but i really would like to see some urgency in giving airbases actual air defences. And I also would like to never again see RAF's P-8 (and in future E-7) parked in that very nice wing to wing line on Lossie's big apron.

I wonder how many airforces will learn from todays events that hardened aircraft shelters or at least proper close hangars are well worth the cost for parking your extremely expensive (and hard/impossible to replace) military aircraft...

Russian telegram is really mad, calling for heads to roll. Calling for "Ukraine to be hit with everything we have" in response. That will certainly be difficult when half your strategic aviation is currently burning :)
