2 elderly people taken to the hospital after a fire on Carriage Dr in New Bedford. Fire dept tells me the first engine co. arrived to fire showing from the attic. About 10 people displaced from this building. The 2 victims were taken to St Luke’s for smoke inhalation. @wpri12

A child was transported to the hospital from Jones Park and Beach in Dartmouth after a medical emergency in the water. Bystanders performed CPR on the child. Police tell us an assault then took place in the parking lot, sending another person to the hospital. @wpri12
Large trees like this are down in the neighborhoods near Durfee HS in Fall River. Main roads like President Ave and Elsbree St are closed due to trees and utility lines down, blocking traffic. This area looks like it was hit particularly hard. Power is out. @wpri12
Widespread storm damage across Fall River. Multiple reports of roof collapses and partial building/wall collapses around the city. A few police officers in just talked to said there’s so many damage reports, it’s hard to keep track right now. @wpri12
Trees and power lines down across the Scituate/Foster area as storms continue to roll through. Came across this large tree blocking Rt 116 near Old Scituate Ave while I was trying to get to another scene. Nobody injured here. Scituate PD and FD now blocking the road. @wpri12

Wild scene in Boston ended here on Albany & Plympton Sts where a woman wanted on multiple vehicle violations, dragged a Boston Police Officer. She drove several blocks, hitting parked cars and light posts before coming to a stop at this intersection.
