This is a pretty damn big pickup for Seton Hall. Hines was excellent this weekend at Peach Jam. He's super physically imposing and has some skill to work with it. It might take him a bit to adjust to the strength of his opponents, but Hines will be playing on Day One.

Very excited to get the chance to finally see Jamie Kaiser in a Butler uniform. I'm optimistic about what he brings to the table, I think he's very underappreciated. Wrote about his addition to the program last offseason, here were some of my thoughts (full article in reply).
Butler's Jamie Kaiser (ankle) has been fully cleared for all basketball related activities, per Thad Matta. Former Top-50 recruit who averaged 4.4 PPG during the 2023-24 season at Maryland.

Hoyas have definitely classed up in terms of scheduling this season. At Maryland, Clemson, at North Carolina and two of Dayton, BYU and Miami. Not to mention an exhibition with a Preseason Top 5 Kentucky team. Definitely a level up from years past.

Per Release: Butler and Boise State will be playing a home and home, starting in Hinkle Fieldhouse this season on December 6th. The two teams have met the last two seasons, with Butler winning at the ESPN Events Invitational two years back.
Butler's Efeosa Oliogu made the Canadian U19 Men's National Team Training Camp Roster. The FIBA U19 World Cup Tournament is 6/28-7/6 in Switzerland.

One of the most underrated parts of Butler transfer Michael Ajayi's game is his ability to cut to the basket to create easy buckets around the rim. He reads the defense very well when he's both on and off the ball.
