The @Rivian Dynamic Glass Roof is really good at keeping heat out of the cabin. I didn’t think it was until I get in my wife’s R1S without it and my bald head gets extremely hot. If you’re contemplating it, get the Vision + Sound upgrade.

Rivian’s new Kick Turn feature is only coming to Gen 2 Quad. Gen 1 Quads won’t get it, mostly due to older motors, ECU architecture, and weaker drivetrain parts that can’t handle the stress. riviantrackr.com/news/why-rivia…

I need to comment on this. I fully understand where Quinn is coming from and I’ve been very vocal about issues with the Rivian software. That said, this seems to be an extreme case and is not the norm. Myself and many many other owners have never seen it this rough. If you do…
I love Rivian. @WassymBensaid’s software team keeps adding amazing features but my dudes… in no way, shape, or form is this level of lag acceptable in any car in 2025—much less one that costs as much as Rivians do. (both gen 1 and gen 2 share same infotainment compute fwiw)
Introduced in 2025.22, Tri and Quad owner can record all their Launch sequences with a beautiful overlay of data!
