When I shared that story about asking women for consent to motorboat them,
This leak is all the proof you need that forcing websites and apps to store sensitive user information to verify ID is only a liability and a danger to the public
The drivers licenses leaked today from the tea app have been uploaded to a searchable map.... this may be the worst PII leak I've ever seen lol
say what you will about uploading your ID into that tea app to warn about toxic men but it’s sooo on the nose that now that womens information was hacked, hundreds of thousands of men are doxxing them, harassing them, and threatening women
That viral women's only dating app 'Tea' was hacked by some 4chan users. They didn't phish, social engineer, or use some crazy hacker technique either - the database was just public
> UK government requires drivers license, or something, to view stuff on the internet > Endless trove of user PII from KYC data dumps
If you have used the Tea app all information you uploaded has been breached. Any content you ever uploaded was stored in a publicly accessible databases.
I'm so tired of it.
Jesus Christ storing user identifiable data in a public unencrypted database, rad. Well maybe in 2 years they’ll win a class action and get a free year of identity monitoring from Experian 🙂
Tea App, the recent trending app which allowed women to anonymously rate or discuss men, has been compromised. The application stored photos and identification in a public facing firebase storage bucket It's all going down on 4chan (as is tradition).
Kiroshi optics to scramble your face on camera may not exist but we do have the cyberpunk tech to obfuscate your face. The future is now chooms.
Ring cameras are partnering with Axon (makers of police body cameras, among other police tech) to make a new feature that allows people to opt-in to police being able to live-stream everything the doorbell camera sees AND allow police to request footage directly from users
You can use Death Stranding's photo mode to bypass Discord's age verification
The Uk government forcing discord to scan my face or show my id to verify my age is genuinely draconian. "Oi you got a license for that" jokes are 100% justified.
i tried to cook a meal at home and a fast food worker teleported into my kitchen and shot me in the head point blank with a real life gun
