The Conservatives have seen off a challenge from Reform UK after gaining a seat from Labour in a town council by-election in Monmouthshire ✍️@EPriceJourno wp.me/p8Mk4U-13h5
The Welsh Conservatives won a by-election in Wyesham, Monmouthshire against Reform last night. This was Reform MS Laura Anne Jones’ old ward when she was a councillor.
Tonight Monmouth Town's newest councillor Xavier Turner has gained a seat from Labour and seen off a challenge from Reform and an Independent after a hard fought campaign.
Well done all - this is a cracking result 💪🙌💥

Britain is losing more billionaires than any other country in the world (The Times, tonight) This is what happens when you create an economy that no longer works for wealth creators and a social contract that alienates people who can vote with their feet
Great to finally see this new school completed. Conceived and brought forward under the previous conservative led administrations to add to the list of fantastic schools we delivered. Sadly I must have missed my invite as the Constituency Senedd Member🥲

So if Rachel Reeves thought a 0.1% contraction of the economy was grounds for an emergency budget for a Tory Chancellor, presumably we can expect her to bring one to the House on Monday?
Hi it’s me - the “man with life-threatening blood disorder”, and all I’m asking as I question my own mortality over breakfast is you take a couple of moments to get involved with a stem cell register. Aged: - 17-30: anthonynolan.org/donatefordan - 30-55: dkms.org.uk/get-involved/b… 🤍

What a ridiculous and embarrassing thing for a PM to say. Anyone with any knowledge of Welsh politics knows there isn’t a ‘backroom stitch-up’ between the Welsh Conservatives, Reform and Plaid Cymru. How on earth is this a key line to brief out? nation.cymru/news/starmer-t…
Delivering our latest leaflet to residents about the council’s consultation on speed limit changes between Monmouth and Mitchel Troy

I’ve written to bosses at @LeTour @letour_uk suggesting the Welsh leg of the Grand Départ of the 2027 Tour de France should pass through the beautiful green rolling hills of Monmouthshire

At @WelshLGA conference it was great to hear from @MickAntoniw1 @DarrenMillarMS @RhunapIorwerth @LauraJ4SWEast talking about the support Wales has provided to Ukraine #WLGA2025 🇺🇦 🏴

I am very grateful to Ken Skates for joining myself and others last week to discuss the A40 at Raglan. My office has just received confirmation from the Cabinet Secretary they will progress with the installation of more permanent speed signage, traffic orders (1/2)
Member of the Senedd for Monmouth, Peter Fox, and others, have welcomed Cabinet Secretary for Transport and North Wales, Ken Skates to the county to review the A40 at Raglan. Read more here 👇 tinyurl.com/5xdcc73w
Fantastic day in Cardiff meeting members and addressing our Welsh Conservative Policy Conference. It’s clear Labour has been disastrous and that the @WelshConserv have the right solutions for Wales in 2026. Loads of great ideas for our programme for Renewal.
