ProGrammer, indie author, see pinned post for my latest project. I have extremely normal beliefs and am a chill part of a normal online community.
If you have a book you want to shout out, be it yours or someone else's, please link it here. I will be going through my own follows to find books, especially indies, that I haven't read yet for a new project I have for the new year, but I don't want to miss anything. I also…
🌟 **Unleash Your Survival Spirit with The Chronicles of Old Glory!** 🌟 What would you do if the world you knew crumbled overnight? In *Requiem of Old Glory*, the gripping first book of *The Chronicles of Old Glory* by J.S. Webster, America faces its darkest hour. On June 5th,…
No, you should not save shrimp over human, even if there are a lot of them. Either ask a hypothetical, or don’t pretend like you did. (Background: The hypothetical is a trolley problem where a bunch of shrimp are tortured for 10 minutes, or you can prevent it by killing a single…
Okay let's clarify some things. Link below
Reading this and the comments explains the problem. People just add a bunch of grocery prices while ignoring amounts per serving. This misconception is basically solved if they ever actually cooked something at home.
when people say that one meal of at home cooking costs something like $60 dollars i genuinely wish they’d explain what they’re cooking because this is just impossible
Hey, fellow indie authors, Drop your covers. I will share my top 3 picks. [I am bored]
Sudden shift? They are often called man’s best friend. They’ve been both pragmatic tools for tasks like herding and hunting, and household companions. There are few things quite as old as the alliance between man and dog.
I've always hated dogs, and among those I grew up around, this was an absolutely normal mentality. So the sudden shift in the collective conscious about these animals is totally baffling to me. Those who walk on rural roads know it well: loose dogs are a blight. Chained-up…
Taking care of some final editing issues and minor tweaks, but otherwise done with this until I get the proof copy and my beta reader rips it apart. But I must say, at the risk of giving some spoilers, this probably has the most death, named characters and otherwise, of all my…
August 19th. That's the plan, at least.

Attention indie creators: IF I CAN, YOU CAN TOO! I started with an idea, a handful of songs, an American Express & a few good friends; with a micro budget I recorded the soundtrack, shot a multi-award winning feature film, and got it on Amazon, Tubi, & several others. What's…
In a raw and unflinching journey through a mind scarred by trauma, this book unveils one man's battle to reclaim his identity from the lies that bound him. Promising an honest, unfiltered account of the author’s struggles, and triumphs while inviting readers to reflect on their…
First draft of Perfect Fusion 5 is done. FINALLY. Already have some planned edits, and some parts to probably flesh out. But the core story is there, and the series has an ending. Certainly took me long enough.
One could have a nuanced conversation on SNAP pros and cons, but the big problem I have is they trotted this woman out as an emotional plea. And for that, I see no reason to look beyond the overweight person demanding more free food. All I can do is laugh. WTF were you thinking?
Today, we heard from Felecia, a single mom of four who works up to three jobs at a time to make ends meet. She counts on SNAP to help put food on the table. This is who Republicans in Congress are trying to take food away from. Listen to her story.
I can think of a lot, but I’ll let my friends post their links. #ironage
Come summertime, I spend a lot of time looking backwards. It's a long story... but I need to look forward. Any recommendations for new stories or worlds to get lost in?
Just going to leave this here.
This is getting completely out of hand, so as someone who has been publishing for ten years, I'm going to share my thoughts only once. Authors, when you post complaining about a less than stellar review, you are essentially saying that you are ungrateful that a reader not only…
...no? Wtf? Are people still doing this thing where they create new interpretations of well established stories that are just objectively wrong? She's not dismissive of the villagers. She seems to even know them pretty well, and talk with them readily. The first shown…

I am not going to make friends with this post. And I'm sorry for that, but it's important. I read the thread below, and the review in question, expecting an unhinged diatribe. Instead, the main critique offered by the reviewer in this case was that it appeared the author was…
Nightingale’s crew have been hired to retrieve a gem. Unfortunately, succeeding drags them into a bloody conflict that they’ll have to resolve to survive. Worse, they might need to do it for free in “The Stargem Heist” Link in comments.
