How did this stunningly stupid and factually incorrect claim make it past the editors? The Milwaukee Braves didn’t change their name to the Brewers, the Braves moved to Atlanta and are still called the Braves.

SPRING SURVEY: 79% of the 3rd Assembly District opposes replacing “mother” with “inseminated person” in state law. You spoke loud and clear, and the @WIAssemblyGOP responded by eliminating this radical policy from Gov. Evers’ budget on the first day of the budget process.

After finally being able to provide Brillion with some relief in the budget, Governor Evers decided to veto the dredging project in the middle of the night for purely political reasons. Thanks to @RepRonTusler’s leadership, the DNR reversed course and funded the project.

The state budget is over. However, an Evers veto of a 70k river dredging project in Brillion, WI has gained attention. Evers vetoed the project only to announce it a few days later. Why? Because why give R legislators a win when he can a victory lap. His response? Word salad.

Governor Evers' new explanation for his 1:30 AM veto is a flat-out lie. Not even the media is willing to cover for him.

Governor Evers tried to kill the Brillion dredging project with a 1:30 AM veto, but thanks to pressure from local residents, the DNR is now funding it anyway. This win belongs to the people of Brillion, who refused to back down. Please see my full press release below:

I will not let Madison & Governor Evers forget about Brillion. Residents living on the Manitowoc River worked hard on this proposal. I am currently and will continue to put pressure on the DNR to complete this project for Brillion. thecentersquare.com/wisconsin/arti…
If @GovEvers was actually concerned about climate change, he wouldn’t have vetoed the Brillion Dredging project out of the budget. In recent days we’ve seen just how dangerous and destructive flash floods can be. Evers put petty politics ahead of the needs of Brillion residents
In Wisconsin, we can’t afford to choose between mitigating climate change and protecting our environment or creating good-paying jobs and building a strong economy. By working toward clean energy options we can depend on, we’re doing both. wsaw.com/2025/07/02/wis…
The liberal WI Supreme Court just gave Gov. Evers’ admin a blank check to essentially write "laws" with no legislative oversight. WI is the 2nd most overregulated state in the Midwest. We need the Red Tape Reset now to stop unconstitutional overreach by unelected bureaucrats.
A split Wisconsin Supreme Court today overturned the Legislature’s power to suspend administrative rules, ending decades of lawmakers having the power to at least temporarily block agency regulations. Read more: wispolitics.com/2025/supreme-c…
