My favorite sequence in the film, not just because of the clear INTERSTELLAR influences. I appreciated how every action scene constantly threw new complications at the characters. It made the stakes feel more heightened.

Here's my thing with Man of Steel. The idea of asking my child to put aside our love for each other, and trust MY belief in who they will grow up to be--trust it so much, they'll *let me give my life* for it--is one of the most profound & beautiful things I can even contemplate.

Zack is VERY good with lens choice. Rather than use a wide angle lens up close it looks like he's using a longer lens to bring more of Henry into view. It keeps the "fish eye" look to a minimum. Here's a perfect example:

Making money doesn't matter unless it's Snyder, changing the lore doesn't matter unless it's Snyder, Superman killing also doesn't matter unless it's Snyder. About time real DC fans admit that's it's the name "Snyder" they have a problem with, not his work.
