As a military veteran and a working mom with two kids in public school, I was called to run for Congress after the November election to end the divisiveness and bring folks together. My name is Rebecca Bennett, and I am ready to deliver for New Jersey’s 7th.

As I travel across our district, I hear all the time that we need new leaders in Congress who are there for the right reasons. The momentum we’re seeing for our campaign is real, and I am so grateful for everyone who has supported our team!

After kicking millions off their healthcare and giving tax cuts to billionaires, Tom Kean Jr. and House Republicans decided to take their summer vacation early. They’re doing nothing to make life more affordable for New Jersey families. What a joke.

Turning our backs on Afghans who served alongside Americans, often at unimaginable risk, is unconscionable. I’m grateful for this week’s court decision, but it’s time for all of us to come together to protect those who worked with our troops in Afghanistan.
