It took me like 12 minutes to get rumble working in a game I otherwise know nothing about, lol
Anyone here well versed in super metroid's source code? We got rumble working already, and I implemented it to rumble when samus fires, but we need a lot more fine tuning by someone with metroid 3 modding experience...

Just rolled out yet another bugfix for Shindou Edition and all other rumble enabled Star Fox patches. v1.2 fixes extreme instability on Kando's SNES (yes, really, v1.1 worked fine on my console) Thanks to Kando for figuring it out and sending me the fix! rhpz.org/27460
Just rolled out a bugfix for Shindou Edition and all other rumble enabled Star Fox patches. In Shindou v1.0, if if you pressed start at just the right time in the intro, the Attack Carrier’s rumble sequence would continue past the intro.

Just a reminder that they had every reason to keep this closed source and private, but they decided to open source EVERYTHING related to this as well as interact with the romhack community. Everyone involved REALLY deserves some applause. Hats off to LRG on this one 🫡

You can see (or rather, hear) Star Fox Shindou Edition towards the end of this video! I hope to release it soon, I'd say it's already 50-75% complete now. I'm just adding the small details and adjusting things, the real controller is much stronger than Mesen emulates it, lol.
