Power in motion! In June, #RCAF CF-18 Hornet fighter jets from 4 Wing, operating under #NORAD, supported #RCMP-led security efforts for the #G7 Summit in Kananaskis, Alta., demonstrating readiness, precision, and professionalism.

Throwback to some amazing shots from Op HORIZON from back in April. The CH-148 Cyclone Helicopter, Avalanche, sailed onboard HMCS Ville de Québec, as part of the UK-led Carrier Strike Group, on the North Atlantic Ocean.

Last week, #RCAF CF-18 Hornets operated out of Alaska with our #NORAD partners at @ANRALCOM to fly training missions, integrating our forces and demonstrating our capability to defend our nations in the #Arctic. @NORADCommand #WeHaveTheWatch

From July 9 to 14, the CAF provided airlift as well as liaison and coordination personnel in support of the province of Manitoba-led evacuation of more than 1,570 Garden Hill First Nation residents as part of Operation LENTUS 25-04.

Shortly after midnight on July 11, #JRCCTrenton received a call from @OPP_News: a patient suffering a severe allergic reaction in @Algonquin_PP. A #424Sqn CH-146 Griffon was tasked and extracted the patient to an ambulance at Smoke Lake for transport to hospital.

#RESCUE Three overdue hunters were located safe near Cap la Lande, Quebec on July 10. A CC-130J Hercules from #424Sqn and a chartered B206LR helicopter were tasked to search alongside @CoastGuardCAN ship Pierre Radisson and CCGA QC Salluit RESCUE 507. BZ to all involved!

Our sixth CC-330 Husky aircraft arrived in Getafe, Spain, to be converted into a Multi-Role Tanker Transport aircraft. As part of the Strategic Tanker Transport Capability project, nine Huskies (five used and four new) will be converted. canada.ca/en/department-…

CAF members evacuated people from the Sandy Lake First Nation in Northern Ontario during Op LENTUS on June 9, 2025. Residents were evacuated by a RCAF CC-130H Hercules aircraft and provincial aircraft due to a threat from a nearby wildfire.

BGen Daniel Coutts took command of 2 Cdn Air Div from BGen John Alexander in a ceremony held today, at 17 Wing Winnipeg, with LGen Eric Kenny, Commander #RCAF presiding.
