Today, at U of H for Public Hearing on Redistricting. Special Committee Chair stated plainly that there is no map to review, that there is no bill to discuss. The hearing room is completely full, and this waiting area outside the hearing room. #RepublicansRuinEverything
this isn't always the case, but houston is *absolutely showing up today* for this TX legislature redistricting hearing at UH. the room (capacity: 600) is completely full and i'm hearing there are around 100 people outside & they're chanting "this is what democracy looks like"
