One of the original motivations to call for a Special Session was Gov. Abbott’s call for THC product regulation framework — opposing the Legislature’s ban that passed in the Regular Session. ⬇️ Lt. Gov. Patrick signals he still wants a ban and opposed to raising the age for THC:

Regulating THC for 21+ in TX is a backdoor way to legalize recreational marijuana. Law enforcement is against regulation & supports a full ban. Texas has a robust program for those in need of medical THC for cancer, PTSD, & other issues.
