Pentecostal for 21 years. PCA for 26. Never was a Baptist.
I have now been Presbyterian longer than I was Baptist. 28 years in the PCA. Please clap.
Absolutely true. And specifically, not without the Carolingian reform of the Benedictine order, along with all the other aspects of the Carolingian Renewal.
You would not have had Christendom without the Benedictines. - Peter Leithart
Picked this up so I can better engage in a baptism discussion I watched on YouTube last week. Mulling a response.... @DZRishmawy

A few reflections on the forefathers of the PCA and what helped to make us such a biblically faithful, culturally impactful and growing denomination that I hope everyone will keep in mind as a new group and generation moves into the ascendency. #PCA #PCAGA
The biggest problem with Tim's comments were: 1. The affinity group meeting he referenced didn't exclude anyone or forbid anyone from coming and anyone who came to the event was not turned away - that's lying on TE Ince. 2. Irwyn, to my knowledge AND in a convo with him
When David Strain got up in Overtures and said he had changed his mind my heart burst. When @MeltonDuncan opened the discussion in support of it and elders lined up in support I wept quietly. I am so surprised and grateful.
the origin story of the #pcaga CN Study Committee is a bit obscure. a random pizza and beer lunch after one of our presbytery meetings early last year saw men from different sides coming together suggesting that we needed an overture. innocent ole me was asked if i would help…
This anon also blocked me because I refused to dialog with him while he was still hiding behind a mask. I will not dialog with anons. They are not engaging in good faith.

Tell me who you are. I'd be happy to talk.
Again with the derision.
DM me. I'll talk. Btw, your racist friend blocked me because he's scared.
I have been serious from the moment I replied. Have you not been?
This person blocked me because I dared to challenge them on their racist nationalism. For anyone else, DM me and I will be happy to dialog.

We are building a coalition in the #pcaga to stand against error and evil, whether it be racist Christian Nationalism or wolves who abuse the flock.
Heading home from PCAGA. See y'all next year in Louisville!

This is the first one of these I've seen that have diverse viewpoints. Highly recommended.
PCAers: New videos posted with a great discussion between Greco, Coffin, and Donahoe on #pcaga overtures. open.substack.com/pub/a4mr/p/ove…
It's important for the family of Sarah Young to have an opportunity to speak to her character. I'm thankful @AquilaReport gave them that opportunity. #pcaga
An Answer to the Critics of Jesus Calling Since Sarah passed away in 2023, it falls to us, her family, to bring clarity to another wave of misinformed criticism that has now infiltrated the PCA that Sarah loved and served for decades. theaquilareport.com/an-answer-to-t…
So apparently some people are surprised and/or think it’s controversial that I’m Reformed? Shouldn’t be. Anyone familiar with historic Reformed Protestantism should clearly see that my academic, theological, evangelistic, and apologetic methodology and motivation all stems from…
