Over the weekend, WilCo assisted 100 families at the Multi-Agency Recovery Center. The MARC is now closed, but the Disaster Recovery Center remains open through August 17. To support those affected by the flood, please consider donating at ctxcf.org.

We’re incredibly grateful for the first responders who have worked tirelessly since the July 5 flood. Our WCEMS swift water rescue team jumped into action to support our community. The work is far from over, but their dedication continues to lead the way in our recovery efforts.

We have extended the Flood Watch through 1 PM today (Tuesday) and added Maverick and Zavala counties. Rain rates of 1 to 3 inches per hour could lead to flooding due to the already wet soils over some of these areas. #txwx
