I always point out how the average NBA fan has no idea what they’re watching when they see the Warriors play because of how unique their system is to the rest of the league. It turns out the owner himself had no idea.
Joe Lacob really saw players like Bogut, Andre, Livingston, etc be part of historically great teams, and then said “what if we drafted players who are the exact OPPOSITE of this?” Truly incalculable levels of hubris and stupidity.
Around 2000, there was a technological and cultural sweet spot in movie making. The romanticism of the 19th-20thC was still taken seriously and CGI was well/developed but not yet completely depended upon.
how amazing it must have been seeing this scene for the first time in theaters
why is this one of the greatest songs ever

Lowkey feel bad for Kuminga. Lacob and Meyers really ruined his career drafting him to a team that’s constantly trying to compete. He might’ve actually gotten that contract if he got drafted to a tanking team or if he was traded in his first few years like most of us wanted.
Jalen Johnson’s contract was considered a potential target for Jonathan Kuminga, per @anthonyVslater “I think Jalen Johnson getting five years, $150MM gave a target… I’m of the belief – and I’ve been told – that (Kuminga’s camp) would’ve taken five for $150MM if it was ever on…
I remember @ZachLowe_NBA was making fun of Warriors fans for having concerns that 90% of the bench could barely drink and that their highest paid player off the bench was James Wiseman
5 out of the 14 roster slots in a title defense taken up by clear inexperience. Throw in a few TBD newcomers and Iguodala’s age… It’s amazing to look back and remember how much people scoffed at the concerns.

kuminga, moody, podz packaged with their multiple first round picks could virtually get anybody in the nba if that said player had asked for a trade

The Warriors don’t want to give Jonathan Kuminga away for less than his full trade value because they’re trying to maintain every asset they’ve got if the Giannis Antetokounmpo market heats up, per @timkawakami (sfstandard.com/2025/07/25/jon…)

A new legend rises. AZTEC BATMAN: CLASH OF THE EMPIRES is coming to Digital 9/19.
Same mentality that had them hold on to a generational bust in Wiseman for too long. Bunch of potential All Stars in every single draft. Literally every single draft that happens every single year. Draft better, who cares
Warriors are scared to death JK will blow up , they got eyes and they watched the Minn series 👊
How is this app even legal
Had my picture posted on the Tea app without consent. Filed a copyright/publicity complaint via Apple Legal - App Store Dispute Form. Apple looped in Tea devs, warned them. Post was gone in hours. If this happens to you, go through Apple since they have to respond.
I’d bet my entire bank account that 5 yrs ago Joe Lacob thought by 2025 Wiseman & Kuminga would’ve been leading this team with Curry washed on the bench. I bet he hoped for that outcome.
