It’s crazy how radical elements on both sides get triggered by a simple post describing how Islam is/was usually lived among Kurds. Yes, in theory the religion is one, but it differs significantly from region to region in practice. Compare Afghanistan with Albania for example.
Kurdish Islam is peaceful. It’s the grandpa who does his prayers & goes to Hajj while also letting his grandkids dress & go out the way they want. It’s the grandma with a white, simple headscarf & love for everybody. It’s not the imported, extremist, foreign, political agenda.
