The Trump administration is developing a rule for weighted selection of H-1B petitions. #immigration #visas #H1B #tech news.bloomberglaw.com/daily-labor-re…
Given that this has now happened at two companies (Apple and Fannie Mae) one has to wonder how many corporate matching grant programs are being scammed by H1B workers. Perhaps DHS should start administering ethics tests and deport anyone who fails. @StephenM

How is outsourcing working out for us America? Cognizant IT help desk workers just GAVE OUT passwords to hackers who asked for them. 🙄 Outsourcing ends up costing us double in the long run. 👇 Clorox lawsuit says hackers got passwords simply by asking share.google/KIQNQUaED5ewI5…
A good sign Trump 2.0 is starting H1B reforms early. Also having a confirmed DHS secretary will help withstand legal challenges.
A regulatory notice doesn't offer details on the proposal, but under the first Trump admin DHS issued a rule that would have based prioritzed selection of H-1B petitions based on wage levels news.bloomberglaw.com/daily-labor-re…

Hey look Maria Salazar has tried to pass this bill before 👇 Same old white collar amnesty for green card holders and their children. HARD PASS @RepMariaSalazar.
Thanks for the text. At a glance, this bill includes the American Dream and Promise Act which bestows green cards upon 200,000 kids of H-1Bs here and in India and allows them to sponsor their parents for green cards when they turn 21. We now VEHEMENTLY oppose this bill.
Congrats Joe Edlow!
Congratulations to Joe Edlow on his confirmation to be the next Director of USCIS! NumbersUSA worked with Joe to pass E-Verify in the states, and we’re excited to see Director Edlow work to restore credibility to immigration enforcement at the Federal level.
