A group of men who call themselves The Shield of Iceland have started walking around downtown Reykjavik, to supposedly guard against violence from foreigners. Many of the men, who wear Nazi symbols, ironically have criminal records for committing extreme violence themselves.

Twenty years ago today, Jean Charles de Menezes was assassinated at Stockwell station. Head of the Met Police, Ian Blair, was made a Lord. Cressida Dick, who led the operation, was promoted to Blair's position.
