RIP Sir Roger Norrington. He conducted the UK stage premiere of Rameau’s Les Boréades in my first term @RoyaAcadMusic. I was one of the rehearsal pianists & it was quite a baptism by fire! He still remembered the production when we met again @BBCRadio3 in 2016. A true original.
