Phillies bullpen has a game where they can predict a HR once a game by throwing their hat on the ground. This was the Phillies' bullpen moments before Kyle Schwarber smashed his 412-foot bases-clearing double off the wall. It would have been a HR in 18 ballparks, per Statcast.

Kyle Schwarber has expressed interest in staying in Philadelphia. Bryce Harper, Rob Thomson, Dave Dombrowski and even John Middleton have all recently made it very clear they want him back. So, could something get done before the offseason? More: mlb.com/news/kyle-schw…
The Phillies' leash for Bryson Stott appears to be getting shorter. He not only hit 9th for the first time all year tonight, but he was also just pinch-hit for by Edmundo Sosa for the first time all year. Could become the norm vs. left-handed relievers.
Bryson Stott's 2 XBH tonight match his total from his last 20 games COMBINED. He entered tonight just 10-for-62 (.161) with 1 HR and 1 double in that span dating back to June 21.
Bryson Stott's wife gave birth to their son today. He wanted to play tonight. He's doubled and homered in his first two at-bats.
In 2015, Byron Buxton & Trea Turner were MLB's fastest players. In 2025 ... Buxton & Turner are both among MLB's fastest players. On how while everyone else ages and slows, these two simply haven't. --> mlb.com/news/byron-bux…
Phillies are 30-16 when Bryce Harper gets a hit. That’s a 105-win pace. But they’re 12-13 when he goes hitless. “When Bryce goes, we all go.” Harper has been quick to say he’s still “one of the best” — and this Phillies offense needs him to be: mlb.com/news/bryce-har…
Robertson’s deal with the Phillies will pay him $16 million, prorated for the remainder of the season, per source.
Through 5 innings, the Phillies have hit only one (1) ball in the air off Angels starter Jose Soriano. - 10 groundouts - 4 K's - 4 ground-ball singles - 1 line drive single (Schwarber in the 1st inning)
Kyle Schwarber's 32 HRs are the most through 98 games by a Phillie since Ryan Howard in 2006. Bryce Harper's 11 XBH in his last 6 games are his most in ANY 6-game span of his career. Phillies need those 2 guys to carry the offense -- and right now, they are.
Bryce Harper's last 11 hits: - Home run - Double - Double - Double - Single - Double - Double - Home run - Double - Home run - Double His 10 extra-base hits over the last 6 games are tied for his most XBH in any 6-game span of his career.
Just your classic 4-2-6-2-5 double play here. Scwharber probably just has to go to 3rd and let them get Turner, but once they go after Schwarber and Turner gets back to 3rd safely, I have no idea why Turner left 3rd base again ...
Unclear how long Bohm will be out, but at least a month seems like safe bet based on other rib fractures in MLB. It'll be interesting to see how Phillies handle 2B/3B/LF in the meantime. Going back to strict Kepler/Wilson LF platoon seems unlikely for already scuffling offense.
Phillies placed Alec Bohm on the IL with a fractured left rib. Weston Wilson recalled to take his place on the roster.

Bryce Harper has his 1st multi-HR game of the season -- but it's his double that may have been his best hit ball of the night. At 113.8 mph, it was his hardest-hit ball since last July.
Just great work by the Phanatic to dive out of a shot on the Phillies Kiss Cam with a female "Phanatic" hiding her face. ... as they played a Coldplay song during the bit. That's quality ballpark entertainment.
Kyle Schwarber has now homered on each of his last 4 swings. After going 3-for-3 in the ASG swing-off, he hits his 31st HR of the season on his first swing of the 2nd half.
Kyle Schwarber is just the 2nd Phillies player to win the All-Star Game MVP Award, joining Johnny Callison -- who hit a walk-off 3-run HR in the 1964 ASG at Shea Stadium. Imagine if Schwarber had that type of performance at next year's ASG in Philadelphia ...
A few years from now, folks are going to be very confused by the 2025 All-Star Game box score ... Kyle Schwarber: 0-for-2, BB All-Star Game MVP.
The National League gave Paul Skenes 2 runs of support in his 1 inning tonight. That's more run support than he's received in 11 of his 20 starts for the Pirates this season.
Phillies led the Giants by 2 before Patrick Bailey's walk-off inside-the-park 3-run HR. The Giants are the 1st team to hit a walk-off ITPHR while trailing by multiple runs since ... The Phillies did it *against* the Giants on May 15, 1989 (Bob Dernier).
