Otto von Bismarck is one of the most impactful people to have shaped the modern world, yet few know anything about him. I genuinely believe he is one of the most important figures for our age. Why? Because of artificial intelligence. Link below:

The first time I met my wife, I couldn't see her. Had pulled an overnight shift running flow cytometry, took my contacts out because my eyes hurt, but didn't have glasses. One of my best friends calls and says he's hanging by a pool with cute girls. The rest is history.
Share a piece of dating lore about yourself.
Property taxes, especially on the unimproved value of land, should be much higher.
What’s an unpopular opinion you believe is genuinely true?
Social Security is literally the most effective anti-poverty program in American history. It has prevented hundreds of millions of people from living in poverty and squalor. Unless you want seniors eating cat food, it's the best solution that we have for retirement.
Or hear me out — we could invest our own money for our own retirements instead of being forced to dump a huge chunk of our paychecks into a precarious-but-mandatory government retirement scheme.
The intractability of healthcare costs is that to really get them under control, everyone needs to take a cut. Doctors, nurses, hospitals, lawyers, insurance, pharma, medtech, administrators, PBMs, advertisers... All need to make less money.
Ok at some point the problem is much deeper than just insurance… how do we lower the cost of hospitals visits?
One of the things I use wood chips for: filling groundhog holes. It kinda works. At minimum, I'm putting some nutrition back into the fields.

you’re just mad that a state so small can contain appalachian mountains, farm land, coastal plains, the chesapeake bay (largest estuary in the US), brackish marshes, freshwater marshes, submerged aquatic wetlands, and 6(!!!!!) physiographic provinces
maryland is the most pathetic state shape ever. like "oh yeah no i don't need a lot of land, ill just take your scraps. that's fine i'll take this fuckass area and i don't need anything else. sorry for bothering you." type shit. id be embarrassed to be proud to be from maryland
We've all known that jeans and genes are homophones since freshmen biology class. Who amongst us hasn't heard the DNA helicase pickup line?
Sydney Sweeney x American Eagle, oh my god.
These are all great ideas, but you had me at higher taxes on a clear sin.
A bill proposed in MA is designed to limit the harms of online gaming. The Better Health Act would: = enact higher tax rate on betting revenue to generate more public health funds - prohibit in-game gambling advertising - prohibit live betting and most prop bets - limit deceptive…
It's basically just the Mason Dixon Line and the Potomac River. Stay mad at our supremacy.

I wonder whether mass transportation has reduced the efficiency of income tax cuts. Back in the day, it probably did help stimulate local economies. Now, it just causes Boomers to go to Florida, travel to Cabo, take a cruise.
Hey I wonder what happened last time a state tried this
Red states are already gerrymandered more than blue states, and they're trying to make it worse. Here's Princeton's Gerrymandering Project's report card. Keep in mind that states with one House district (WY, SD, ND, VT, AK) can't be gerrymandered.
Wait so Republican states are way less gerrymandered than blue states ? What the fuck have Republicans been doing ??
