Ay carajo, no esta mierda otra vez!
While I was organizing my horror collection, I realized there was a big hole in it right next to Tour de Lovecraft: The Destinations. So I had to order the companion volume (The Tales). Since we are talking about @kennethhite I know it will be every bit as good as it’s twin.

My first shelfie. Got a new bookcase for my home office. It’s just my horror collection and some paranormal and antiquarian non-fiction. Maybe I’ll add fantasy and put the scifi and apologetics it the space I freed up elsewhere.

I used to be #1 in the entire country at repossessing pacemakers.
What is your best talent? Could be curing cancer, could be Tetris. I’m not asking for importance. Just … what are you better at than anything else you do?
Had to call in the churchwarden for some weekend duty. Does anyone remember if I named this pipe?

The dude never played in a rock ‘n’ roll band… Yet he could play stairway to Heaven better than Jimmy Page, Gimme Shelter better than Keith Richards and welcome to the jungle better than Slash…Never leave this man out when you talk about greatest guitarist of all time… He…
When things are going south operationally, it’s always a good idea to review a few episodes of Burn Notice. My boy from Amesbury MA always has a few helpful spy tips and @GroovyBruce can always be counted on for some comic relief.

Apropos of nothing, our guest decided to take advantage of the golden hour sunlight and demand a photo shoot

My parting gesture before leaving for college to my high school job was to stock the break room vending machine with 2 cases of beer.
The temptation to replace the beer fridge in the garage with this bad boy is STRONG.
Saw the last episode of The Terror. The recommendation of @CosmicHorror637 was spot on (of which I had NO DOUBT). I was slightly disappointed with the presentation of the Tunbaaq, but the monster was the least of the horrors in this series 9/10

Ugh. The crypto-pornbot followers are back. It was nice while it lasted.
Metalheads are nice people cosplaying as bad people Hippies are bad people cosplaying as nice people
El 23 de julio de 1914 nace en Rochester, NY, Virgil Finlay. Prolífico ilustrador, su detallado e inspirado arte adornó muchos libros y revistas pulp de #CienciaFiccion . Curiosamente, realizó pocas portadas, principalmente #ilustracion interior. 🎨 Murió en 1971. #scifi
Frustrating day at work. After two weeks of neglect, the yard was a bosky mess. I mowed the back 40, but the weeds on the verges need a merciless whacking. Fortunately I can count on a bowl of Nightcap to treat me good.

The Terror showed up on Netflix but apparently not for very long. I’m up to 7/10 episodes and it’s a solid banger so far.

I just don’t see any examples of the gop or this DoJ that has shown the willingness to charge, let alone prosecute any of the high level criminals. They don’t want this kind of thing exposed, they all knew about this and have done nothing for ten years, why start now.
Ribeyes on the pellet grill, good time for a bowl of Nightcap. My favorite blend so far.

I’m a geek for after market gear, this doohickey seals the bottom of my pipe Zippo to prevent evaporation of the lighter fluid and has a handy access port for refilling.

Happy birthday to Screamin’ Jay Hawkins, born on this day in 1928! Known for his powerful, operatic voice and wildly theatrical stage presence, he brought songs like “I Put a Spell on You” to life with macabre props and over-the-top flair — making him a trailblazer of shock rock…
