Can any art detectives help? Where in Bethnal Green is this likely to have been?
This is "NE Bethnal Green" by George Board from 1928. This is the only known surviving example of George's work in oils despite the fact that he was a regular contributor to shows. I'd love to know where this scene might have been in Bethnal Green but, to date, it has eluded me.
