25th July 1554, Mary I married Philip of Spain. This may have been the happiest day of her life, she was finally a married Queen. Nothing could possibly go wrong... Happy anniversary Mary & Philip 🎉

In 1555 the Spanish Netherlands eagerly waited for their new monarchs to inherit. This beautiful brass token celebrates Philip & Mary. The reverse acknowledges Mary as Queen of Spain.
