💥Saka has had a busy few shifts this week helping locate & detain three suspects on a burglary spree breaking into multiple properties in Exminster attempting to steal high value vehicles before garden hoping trying to hide & then tracking to a suicidal female on a cliff edge💥

4 Excited puppy walkers waiting for our Vonkeble pups next week and one more puppy walker recruit needed for the 5th pup that I also hope to bring back.

How time flies I’m off to Vonkeble next week to collect our next batch of pups. It only seems like yesterday that I collected Astrid, Rip and Reggie from them.

Congratulations to PD Gus with Noah PD Nero with Joe, PD Enzo with Ben and PD Albert with John who have all successfully qualified as elite Firearms Support dog teams after a very intensive support course.

Congratulations to newly qualified Firearms support dog team John and Police dog Albert. PD Albert is the only operational Giant Schnauzer general purpose PD in the U.K. He is also the first ever Giant Schnauzer to qualify as a Firearms support dog in the U.K. 👏👍❤️Well done

Our puppy walkers Mel & Phil who have TPD Lando & RPD Max were contacted by their friend who works with patients in palliative care. One of her patients also called Max had a last wish to meet his favourite breed ie GSD’s. She arranged a visit with the boys which made his day.❤️

TPD Clive saw Tom the dental specialist at Charter vets yesterday. Tom was very optimistic that if his lower canines continue to grow as they are his biting will be fine. 5 am today took TPD’s Clive, Odi & Ella to Exmouth for a celebratory swim. 🏊‍♀️ Really calm conditions. 👍🤞

Our 5 dogs for the September course just became 3. Left to right are TPD’s Chilli, Bear , Lando, Maggie and Ernie after our brilliant last training day. Since then Siblings Bear and Maggie failed their hip x rays. Bear will retire with Dave & we will find Maggie a new home.🥲

Wishing PD Bill a happy 4th Birthday! Lately he helped with a nuisance male who was trying to steal items from a shop and being aggressive towards the staff! Bill arrived and the male became more aggressive and offered violence! He then tried to run but Bill quickly detained him!

PD Blue ended his set of shifts last night by locating a subject who had fled the scene of criminal damage in Dorchester. The subject was arrested and a knife was located on a post arrest search 🐾 #thenoseknows #GPD #policedogs

💥Pursuit of a suspected cloned motorcycle driving dangerously in Totnes before it was found dumped nearby ….Saka arrived tracking from the bike into woodland to the male who broke from his hiding place trying to outrun Saka but quickly found out four legs are faster than two💥
