The good news is that TPD Clive’s lower canines are no longer hidden below his gums & are developing nicely thanks to Canine dental specialist Tom Williams at Charter vets. My thanks also to the lovely Kim at the Grooming Pad Cranbrook for giving him a quick facial trim today. 👍

I tend to allocate the more boisterous full on pups to the more experienced puppy walkers.
Hi Paul, how do you allocate the specific dogs to the 4 puppy walkers when you bring them back? Does everyone get together and pick one / see who the pups gravitate towards, or is there a more formal process to give a specific dog to a specific walker?
Lorralee. Thats the number one reason given for not wanting to be a puppy walker. In reality by the time they get to 12 months most puppy walkers are ready for them to go to their handler because they become so boisterous they need a job of work to do.
I couldn't do it. Wouldn't want yo give them up! 😅🥰
Rosalyn. They do if we breed our own but not with puppies from other breeders
Do the litters have names starting with the same letter so that they are assigned to a force with a corresponding letter so all dogs that are in the day Devon force are like A ?
Well done Steve and PD Macy. Enjoy your retirement. 👍👏
A West Yorkshire Police crime-fighting duo are starting their well-earned retirement after a combined total of nearly 40 years of service. PC Steve Huntington and PD Macy have been working together since 2017 - read more about their journey here: westyorkshire.police.uk/news-appeals/p…
Mike/Kim Earlier this evening one of the PC’s who is on the waiting list for a dog handling post has asked if he can puppy walk the 5th one so we are okay. My next batch arriving around Xmas
Absolutely cracking pups Paul, very tempting 🐾
TPD Rip doing a search for his toy in amongst some noisy generators and typical of him unfazed by the noise and isn’t giving up until the prey is caught.
TPD Chilli enjoying her morning swim.
4 Excited puppy walkers waiting for our Vonkeble pups next week and one more puppy walker recruit needed for the 5th pup that I also hope to bring back.

How time flies I’m off to Vonkeble next week to collect our next batch of pups. It only seems like yesterday that I collected Astrid, Rip and Reggie from them.

Old Rob one. He is getting on fine but his handler is also the supervisor of two dog centres ie Plymouth & Ashburton and so doesn’t get to work him as much as the handlers he supervises. He recently located a vulnerable missing person.
I don't know if I've missed anything but how is PD Bert getting on please
Happy retirement PD Kai and well done to his handler. 👍
🐾 Meet Retired Police Dog Kai who has retired from @gwentpolice 🐾 Kai’s journey began with a rocky start - after biting a family member, he was flagged by a trainer as having serious potential for police work. Once assessed, he began his training and proved to be a sensitive,…
I trained PD Albert and PD Bert to bark when locating a hidden article. I did this so when searching at night if I couldn’t see him & he barked I would know he had found something. Some handlers don’t like the bark & so this time I’ve trained TPD Clive to freeze & point.
TPD Chilli searching for a criminal believed to be hiding inside. TPD Chilli is very determined and will not give up until she finds who she is looking for.
TPD Lando will soon be going to his Police dog handler and leaving his puppy walkers Phil & Mel. They have once again done a brilliant job preparing him for the next stage of his journey. He has a lovely temperament but you don’t want to upset him.
This was TPD Chilli’s first ever wood track but I had no doubt’s that she would just take it in her stride.
Training yesterday for TPD’s Lando and TPD Chilli in very wet conditions practicing a down stay.

Training yesterday for TPD’s Lando and Chilli in pretty wet conditions

Sharon. Thank you that’s great to know that he has become the Giant Schnauzer poster boy in the Schnauzer world. We probably now need a poster girl. West Mercia Police are onto it.
I have a friend who shows Miniature Schnauzers. I told her about PD Albert but she already knew all about him. Apparently, he's quite the star in the world of Schnauzers and now he may be a superstar!! 😀
Crazy Kitty Lady. She had 2 litters both with 9 pups and I thought that was enough even though she clearly enjoyed them both.
Sorry if already covered. Is Ella going to have any more litters?
