I have good news 😅 Let me sleep and wake up first.
My friend and her family are currently on a cruise. Her aunt turned 60 and about 150 of them are on a euro cruise for a week. I’ve watched them explore fashion, dance moves, restaurant hopping etc. One thing lack of money does is that it might conceal your full personality and…
I just heard someone say “maybe you don’t need more time to heal, maybe you need more experiences that show your nervous system a different realty” And, yeah.
Inspired by @abasimaenyinn 's 3k word TKAM review, here's me replugging my earlier 3k word plea to Nollywood to stop using sexual violence as a plot device. afrocritik.com/dear-nollywood…
I don’t want to be that person that’s too woke but all these private schools that try to instill a “foreign accent” in their students don’t sit right with me at all. It’s odd and it’s giving inferiority complex. You can have proper diction in a “Nigerian accent”
A day in the life of a Charterhouse Lagos student. Ladies and gentlemen, it's hustle o! 😅😆🤦♀️
Doris is in BBN this year???? This might be the only BBN I actually get invested in since Karen and Uti.
“ a good story will sell itself” It is a myth in Nigeria—- if you’re a producer or director in this country you will have to hawk your film like the guys in under the sun. It doesn’t matter the platform. You will beg, dance and even chest ‘insorts’ from strangers with smile sef
When I speak of autonomy, this is what comes to mind — clear, deliberate ownership of one’s own life and path. This man owned the suffering and the work to get out of it, and advocated for himself when it mattered. Having agency isn’t only being able to say ‘no’.
Dear Twitter family… I did a thing and dragged @DONJAZZY into it! 😎 #eenterabienoenter #anywaynamoviepromofor #HakeemSeekingJustice #incinemasAugust1
I need help!!! I'm trying to rent voile/chiffon decoration fabric for a shoot and I can't find anybody that's renting. Even if it's to borrow biko. I'll wash it and return it. 😭
A Chinese man can go his whole life never being hungry for egusi soup. A Nigerian man can go his whole life never craving dumplings and wontons. You cannot hunger for what you have not been exposed to. Hunger must be for something specific.
Yes actually. Dilemma, Unbroken, Riona, Cheta M, Slum King, Check Out, Eve, Unscripted, Covenant, Battleground & Alli Eid Dinner (I wrote on all of them 🤭)
Paid for Showmax, are the good series/movies there??? Need recommendations
A frequent criticism Filmmakers get is "why do something if you can't do it perfectly?". Wild in a world that also says "Perfection is the enemy of progress" How can you get better if you don't put in the reps? Dear Filmmaker, keep swinging.
Access is another key factor. As an actor, it’s great to appear in a big screen cinema project but the fame & numbers that makes you a bankable actor doesn't usually happen with the cinema projects, it happens with the projects that are easily accesible to the audience.
There is a common factor among all these projects that has enabled the actors to achieve significant increase in followers, they are all movies released on streaming platforms. This highlights the crucial role streaming services play in the rise of global superstars.
Sorry? My childhood is getting cancelled?
‘E! News’ has been canceled after 32 years on the air.
If we're being serious, private individuals will start saving seeds and roots.

I really don’t know if the ‘no makeup’/natural makeup look works on TV/film for scenes where they want to make it seem like the person isn’t wearing makeup. I think it’s just better to really be without makeup.
I saw a copy of dream count hawked by a bookseller on the floor of a lagos bus stop.
