I love that the Lagos State Government is seriously investing in new access roads and bridges now to accommodate the growing population — especially on vital corridors like the Island. This is helping to open up more islands and creeks for real estate development. The demand for…
No single person with a working brain that has lived in Abuja will say Gbagyis are more accommodating than Yorubas. Gbagyi wey dey always talk say dem go take back their land. FCDA is always settling dispute between Gbagyi and residents. Head dey pain you my brother.
In retrospect, I think Babangida was right to move Nigeria’s capital to Abuja. Because I have never seen this level of foolish bigotry from Gbagyi people and there’s no indication that they will ever stoop low to this level.
Today, I swore in the newly elected chairmen and vice chairmen across our 57 local governments and LCDAs. I reminded them that leadership is about service. Our people have placed their trust and their dreams in their hands. They want safer streets, better roads, functional…
I put it to you that 95% of the Igbos pushing bigotry against Yorubas online are not even in Nigeria, nor in Yorubaland. Even the remaining 5% who may have lived — or are currently living — in Yorubaland can not point to a single Yoruba man or woman who has wronged them in any…
Thanks for bringing this to our notice. Meanwhile, there was no point when Soyinka made a derogatory statement against Igbo and he was there for Igbos during the civil war. It would have been better if Area Fada had focused on criticising the government rather insulting Yorubas.
This street in Awka, Anambra State, is named after Prof. Wole Soyinka, and nobody is changing it for any reason. Renaming non-Yoruba sounding streets in parts of Lagos State signals ethnic prejudice and tribal hate. One Nigeria, indeed.
Hausa/Fulani were belittled, cursed, insulted, bullied, and silenced for 8yrs including the ones who never voted the President. Today, a Yoruba man is the President, and the Yorubas has refused to be like Northerners, and they were tagged bigots for upholding their sanctity.🤣
Honestly speaking, I think we need to give the Lagos state government some credits. I drove through major roads from island to mainland today, and I didn't see any bad roads. And the roads were clean. Yes, it's not perfect. But major roads in Lagos are in good shape. End.
Lagos 🇳🇬 is the only city in West Africa with both Light Rail and BRT system.
Frame 1 (2024): "Mumu people, why are you still using my name for your bus stop?" ⬅️ Frame 2 (2025): (The council removes his name) "You want to erase my legacy!" ⬅️ Just imagine. Tell me, why did Charlie Boy make such an unnecessary tweet in 2024 mocking the local government?…

This bus terminal was built by the LASG in partnership with @FAAN_Official to provide seamless connectivity to the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) and the domestic wing of the airport. Have you been here? 📍MMA Mafoluku Bus Terminal, Lagos 🇳🇬

Nigerians often think they are the only ones with issues, which is why they would rather drag their country through the mud on social media—thereby fueling all kinds of stereotypes. You think you're attacking the president, but you're actually doing harm to yourself. Some…
Most Nigerians have amnesia. These were Spaces held even before the election, and just look at the kind of derogatory statements used here. How do you threaten to chase away people’s Obas and chase them down to Chad—and then not expect them to change their attitude toward you?…
