This "fixable" thing you mentioned is masking. And masking is debilitating for many people. It's not the same as practicing a skill like riding a bike. It's often overanalyzing every social interaction, mimicking tone and body language just to appear "normal"

people need to realize autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder that you are born with and sometimes this comes with inherent social awkwardness. asking someone to "fix this" is asking someone to be insincere to themselves so that they can fit in and make you more comfortable
