My big takeaway from the Awdry Extravaganza 4 (and all of these events) is just how full of love my heart feels after having been in Tywyn. Seeing all the Purple-ant way gang, and meeting all the faces (new and old) over the weekend brings me so much joy. Thank you all 💜
Figured it out - I'd misaligned the axle pickups while putting him back together (rookie error but it all fit so I assumed nothing was off) Here's Little Barford's first steps 💜 He would have minced Sir Handel on the test track @SodorsNWRsteam tbh, saved you the humiliation 😤
Little Barford came to Awdry but he suffered a failure to launch. Has anyone experienced the Bachmann Peter Sam wheels spinning then locking up? I fear I might have rethreaded the rods wrong, but I'm wondering if anything else could be up?
Oh yeah, another Fun Fact™️ about this: David Ventry who plays a wonderful rendition of the Thin Controller is actually the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Talyllyn Railway Company! It's the little details that count 😉

Having the opportunity to be a part of this production was phenomenal. Seeing the reactions as it played during the Saturday evening event, on the BIG screen?!?! It was an indescribable feeling. We hope that you all enjoy watching ‘Sir Handel’ just as much as we did making it💜

Thank you to all who watched or enabled the most ambitious and well-delivered outside broadcast that I’ve ever been on. Hundreds of people featured, tens of thousands watched, and the most extraordinary programming went out on YouTube: all from @TalyllynRailway, all with love.❤️
