This would be an amazing addition to the upcoming Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection when diving into the history leading up to the production of the first game. I've read about this for ages, but never seen the demo pieced together to get JCVD's attention.
Update: @noobde found the tape!
Same.
I've been praying for a remastered "Master Of The Flying Guillotine" for YEARS. C'mon, all you boutique distributors... get on it! I mean, it's one of Tarantino's favorite film, for Pete's sake!
Hours upon hours in Izotope RX paid off 馃槄
BTW, the original Cantonese 2.0 audio is the best this film has ever sounded. Is not flat anymore and it has range and very clean. I think @OldPangYau did the audio for this too.
I leave (the artist formerly known as) Twitter for a week due to my head wanting to cave in, come back to post the news about Shout/Scream Factory finding the thought-lost Day of the Dead interpositive, and it blows up to over 3K likes...
Just to clarify, it's since been confirmed to be the interpositive, which was also thought to be lost in addition to the OCN. Little bit of confusion early on, lol.
Shout Factory out here just finding film elements that were thought to be lost...

It's amazing how much of a nosedive my mental health takes when I go into a certain forum of a certain physical media format... I miss when this was fun...
My awkward ass when I make a seemingly throwaway rant/post about Kill Bill "The Whole Bloody Affair" on my lunch break, and it's one of my more reacted posts in a long time:
It honestly makes me irrationally angry that this has only been shown on literal film and never given a home release. And fan edits where I need to combine two blu-rays and a Japanese DVD don't count, lol. No idea if this recent showing has the updated O-Ren anime though.

Unless there's a green band version attached to Superman, probably not, lol.
Will this be the Week the Mortal Kombat 2 Movie trailer drop?
Oh no, I've become distracted by the rabbit hole of scans of theatrically released 35mm prints... halp...
Friend: *Shows me a VHS cover of Slaughter In San Francisco, not knowing what it is* Me, with my love of so-bad-its-good films and having worked on blu-ray releases of the film:
Me, watching my family members online say "hApPy 4tH oF jUlY!!1!" while I happily edit Chinese audio tracks (mainly Cantonese at the moment, some Mandarin) and eat Mexican food:
Replace "ALEXANDER" with "THE BIG BOSS" and it seems accurate, lol.
Me explaining the different cuts of ALEXANDER at a family gathering
Them: "You need a positive mantra to start your day!" Me to myself:

Me, working on the 18th of 150+ Golden Princess films as this video comes out:
The full list of titles Shout acquired in the Golden Princess / Cinema City deal is now online, so I did what everyone was clamoring for: Made a video of me reading like 150 movie titles. With perv commentary. It's amazing. Watch it. youtu.be/JqnLzoYT8qg
One of the more awesome physical media announcements I've seen lately (one that seemed only rumored for a while), and apparently Tom Savini confirmed on Facebook that the uncensored cut will also start in black and white and then fade to color as he originally wanted.
