According to NHTSA, last year over 850,000 vehicles were stolen nationwide in 2024. In Ohio, the Patrol has recovered over 6,300 stolen vehicles since 2020. To help protect yourself and avoid becoming a victim, follow these simple tips.
If you see the flashing lights of an emergency vehicle, always move over, or slow down if you’re unable to safely change lanes. In 2024, OSHP issued 8,398 citations in work zones. Please allow folks the room to work; let’s all get home safely.
