Great graphs of DC’s tax base from @ORAdcgov. Sales tax climbed back to mid-2010’s last year after a dive during the pandemic. DC’s income tax is progressive while having the lowest tax burden for most earners in the region accounting for property, income, sales, & auto taxes.
