If DOGE really wanted to rein in government waste, it would close tax loopholes and end subsidies that benefit the ultra-wealthy and large corporations. Instead, DOGE wants to gut government agencies that protect you.

Of everything about Ofsted, this is my biggest concern. If there’s a new massive framework AND a new curriculum, at the same time, those near retirement may well think “You know what, I’m done” and go.

My hot take on the Ofsted stuff is that, if you had a well-funded system with lots of extra people, it would help drive school improvement (and *could* reduce stress). As the system currently stands: I’m concerned it’ll drown people in workload.
