Staffer to @NicolaSturgeon | Views my own 🏴
Over a decade ago, I was proud to introduce the bill that gave 16 and 17-year-olds the vote in Scottish elections. Young people here have a stake in shaping our future, and it made Scotland’s democracy stronger. The UK is finally catching up - this change is long overdue.
Lmaoooo ‘unjustified’
I have just cancelled my subscription for @guardian because of their constant unjustified criticism of @UKLabour
I put my baby boy to bed tonight knowing he’s safe. Mothers in Gaza are watching theirs be starved to death. @Keir_Starmer - STOP equivocating! Recognise the State of Palestine now & help to end this atrocity.
Hey @grok who is the most famous person to have visited my profile? It doesn’t have to be a mutual. Don't tag them just say their name.
😂 Everyone and their gran knows this is a lie

This decision is long overdue.

Imagine the whip being taken off you for standing up for the right thing. Absolutely tragic from the Labour Party. 🤮 Radio silence from @AnasSarwar?

Remember Labour’s attempts to cut disability benefits last week? Well, yesterday MPs voted on amendments to their plans. Here’s some of the things Labour MPs voted to block: 🧵👇
I understand Maureen has had a bit of a tumultuous time with her staffing arrangements over the last year, but please, hire someone who can centre text on a page because like her party, it’s aligned much too far to the right.
Tonight I took the difficult decision to vote against the bill on Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payment. Read my statement below 👇
I knew it would be hard to get Lewis Capaldi tickets in Glasgow but being 70,000 in the queue is not what I imagined
It’s excruciating to see Labour MP’s talking about being elected for a year now and how they’ve delivered so much since then. There’s nothing to boast about when you’ve pushed the vulnerable, disabled and pensioners into further poverty and distress. Shameful stuff.
Delighted to be hosting this event with @NicolaSturgeon to launch Govanhill Book Festival 2025, part of @GovanhillFest get yer tickets quick, it will sell out outsavvy.com/event/28329/la…
Scottish Labour MPs voted to put disabled people into poverty. Anas Sarwar has supported them all the way. If he can’t stand up to Keir Starmer, then how can we expect Scottish Labour to stand up for the people of Scotland. Only @theSNP can be trusted with Scotland’s future!
Graduating yesterday was my biggest personal achievement yet, and I owe the biggest thanks to @scotgov! As a working-class lass from a council house in the top 20% most deprived areas (SIMD), I got to go to uni because of a government that believes in access to all 🎓💪
The Labour Party created the welfare state and now they’re dismantling it. Any MP who supports this legislation today is supporting cutting payments from disabled people.
The Scottish Labour MPs who voted for this bill today should be ashamed with themselves. Utterly ashamed.
Don’t forget, Anas Sarwar has repeatedly defended the very disability cuts that Keir Starmer is now rowing back on. A follower, not a leader.
Labour MPs today have the chance to stop 150,000 disabled people being plunged into poverty by their own government. The lesson is clear: Labour or Tories - it's the same old story of cruelty from Westminster. The SNP will fight Labour's cuts every step of the way.
Beyond levels of stupidity
All the Palestine mob getting mad It is not me supporting terrorists pal You are. I simply don’t care about your virtue signalling - the Palestinians probably hate half you and what you stand for anyway. I stand with the democratic free country not the terrorists.
