I was randomly browsing the Mother Wiki and it turns out only 5 boss fights in Earthbound use Otherworldly Foe as the song, only 5! It felt like a much more prominent song in the game to me, only 5 boss fights though not even any regular enemies!

Happy 23th Anniversary to Super Mario Sunshine. The first game directed by Yoshiaki Koizumi with a legendary soundtrack by Koji Kondo & Shinobu Nagata. It's a brilliant game with some VERY frustrating levels.
