My wife keeps bees. We also have about 50 paper wasp nests pop up around our property each year. My wife gets stung every year a couple times collecting honey. I never have been, neither have my kids. My wife, kids, and I get stung by the waps a lot each year.
Personally I don't see the difference in behavior
So this "missed" us. We barely had clouds overhead but we ended up getting .8" in about 30 minutes. Our annual precipitation is about 12-14". Just north of us, 5.5"!!!
