NEMA has launched an investigation into Nkalubo Mixed Farm in Bendegere Village, Katabi Town Council, Wakiso District, following complaints from residents regarding a persistent foul odor emanating from the facility.

The concerns have also sparked public debate over a stop notice that had previously been issued against the farm. During an on-site inspection by NEMA's team of Environmental Inspectors, several violations were observed:
