Correction for the O'Hare observation: the peak wind gusts at O'Hare was 67 mph!! The line of storms is beginning to move out over the lake. We continue to monitor strong to severe storms that extend southwest of the city along the I-55/I-57 corridor. #ILwx #INwx
Measured wind gusts to 53 mph were observed at both O'Hare and Midway airports! Expect localized wind gusts up to 60-65 mph embedded within this line of storms as it moves through Cook County over the next 20-40 minutes. #ILwx
