Consultants and SAS doctors in England - look out for your indicative ballot email from @TheBMA today! Wes Streeting called pay restoration "a journey, not an event" - so why have we stopped? Are you prepared to stand up to demand your value is recognised by the government?
As soon as the pay award was announced we wrote to the Secretary of State demanding negotiations; the DDRB changes have been ignored and the journey to pay restoration well and truly stalled. We've heard nothing. We want to talk but continued silence should inform your vote.
On 21 July, new indicative ballots will open for consultants and SAS doctors in England. Together we can act to tackle pay erosion and value doctors properly. Learn more: 🔗Consultants: bma.org.uk/ConsultantsPay 🔗SAS doctors: bma.org.uk/SASpay
