Sligo Creek Parkway between University Blvd and Piney Branch will remain closed until tomorrow morning due to a downed tree.
All portions of Sligo Creek Pkwy that closed due to flooding are now open. Sligo Creek Pkwy is still closed from University Blvd to Forest Glen and Piney Branch Rd to Carroll Ave for the normal weekend open parkways schedule and will reopen to vehicles as usual at 6pm today.
The entirety of Sligo Creek Parkway is closed down to flooding.
Several planks on the bridge south of Wayne Avenue on Sligo Creek Trail have been washed away from Saturday’s storm. The bridge is currently closed while repairs are underway over the next several weeks. mocoparks.org/377LtP6
