Interested in working on #cancer and #dormancy? We are looking for a passionate and ambitious postdoc to join our lab within a #AIRC-funded project at @DMM_Unipd @UniPadova . Immediate start. #fellowship #postdocjobs #openpositions #ricerca

Our little one Farouk @farou_abd fiercely defended his thesis and graduated in Medical Biotechnologies. We wish you a future with clean western blots and bright specific bands! @DMM_Unipd @Unipd

Excited to share this preprint from a collaboration with @RichterLabUnipd and @MontagnerLab, started during the #COVID19 lockdown. 🧵 biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
how come?!
Does your (EU) country attract or lose top researchers? AT, CH attract a lot. FR, DE, BE, ES are open places: as many leave as arrive. IE is a closed system. Italy, there is something very wrong: *very* few come, many go. Plot made with @ERC_Research data.
Honoured to present our data at @EACRnews virtual conference "Invisible phase of metastasis" together with amazing scientists in the field of cancer dissemination. Fighting for a future without metastasis. #eacrMetastasisDormancy

The plot thickens. So, has Hippo signaling any physiological role? science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…
Thanks Julio - I certainly have big shoes to fill.

Finally out! Co-led with Teresa Manzo, from the clinic to our labs and back to our patients. Exciting time ahead! In collaboration with @luglilab @MartinHSchaefer at @IEOufficiale @semm_it with the support of @AIRC_it @WorldwideCancer @Fond_IEOMONZINO nature.com/articles/s4146…
I forgot to say, inspiring talk by Prof. @federicafacciot!
I have been honoured to participate yesterday at the celebration of research by @AIRC_it at #Quirinale together with other great colleagues. Clever speech by our President of the Republic. The guards of honour of the President salute each single person that walks past them.

From this picture you realise the importance to always have a master thesis student because they know how to take selfies, thanks Abodou Adebinkpe M Farouk!

We have been to the XX NIBIT Annual Meeting, where I gave a talk on survival strategies of disseminated dormant breast cancer cells. Astonishing data on patients treated with immunotherapies. At the end I was knocked out by the number of lymphocytes subsubsubsubtypes I heard.

What an amazing time for our lab (because there is a lab indeed)! First thing first, welcome to Dr. Maria Paula Dizanzo from @IBR_CONICET that joined our lab as PostDoc and started in "I'm Mr. Wolf, I solve problems" mode.
Good morning everyone, I would like to thank the organisers for inviting me to this amazing meeting!
