Every minister should be asked this.

It was a positive meeting, but there is much more that we need to do to persuade the government of the life changing - indeed life extending -difference made by learning disability nurses. We need more, and they need the recognition they deserve.

Fundamental rights apparently to be replaced by "SEND units".

And last year’s annual #LeDeRReport still not published … does this 10 year plan genuinely respond to people with learning disabilities dying so prematurely and from preventable conditions?

This letter, in today’s Times, stopped me in my tracks. The assisted dying Bill will affect all of society, in ways that have barely been considered.

The unmitigated disaster that is Rayner’s awful “Employment Rights” bill is another hammer blow to the economy. Coming after Reeves’ calamitous budget, it’s as if Ministers are competing to see which one can do the most damage to the UK in the shortest possible time.
